Fierce Beer's fundraising foundation has announced its first charity partnership, teaming up with Rewilding Britain to support the long-term restoration of Britain's natural landscapes.
What Is the Fierce For Good Foundation?
The Fierce For Good Foundation launched in April 2026 as Fierce Beer's dedicated fundraising arm. It exists to raise money for causes that matter to the people who work here: environmental, social and cultural. Recipients are chosen by a steering committee of non-directorial team members. Every pound raised is tracked, and a public impact summary is published each year covering amounts raised, amounts distributed, and the projects supported.
The Foundation operates to a published code of practice covering transparency and accountability. It is not a registered charity, but it runs like one in terms of how it handles money and reports on it.
The Foundation's beers are the engine. Sales of Fierce For Good beers generate the funds that go out to partner organisations, on an ongoing basis.
Who Are Rewilding Britain?
Rewilding Britain is the UK's first rewilding charity. Their work centres on large-scale nature restoration: rebuilding habitats, reintroducing missing species, and restoring the natural processes that allow ecosystems to function without constant human intervention. The goal is a wilder Britain, where nature can sustain itself, communities can reconnect with the land, and the climate and extinction crises are met with something more than incremental action.
They operate across land and sea, working with a growing network of rewilders, landowners, activists and communities. It is ambitious, long-term work, and it needs sustained funding to deliver results.
Why This Partnership?
Most charitable giving works in one direction: a donation is made, a receipt is issued, and that is broadly the end of it. The Fierce For Good Foundation was built with a different model in mind. The partnership with Rewilding Britain is designed to deliver funding over a longer period, concentrating support behind a specific goal rather than spreading it thin across one-off contributions.
Rob MacKay, Chair of the Fierce For Good Foundation, explained the thinking: "In Rewilding Britain, we've found a partner who share our ethos. We are excited to be able to support the fantastic work they do across wildlife conservation, natural carbon capture, and sustaining communities."
The partnership also includes volunteering opportunities for Fierce team members, with the company providing time out of work to attend. That side of things is ahead of us. What matters right now is that the commitment is in place.
Kate Barclay, Director of Fundraising and Partnerships at Rewilding Britain, said: "Fierce have demonstrated a commitment to tackling the issues facing the natural world, and we are looking forward to seeing them within our network of community activists, making a hands-on difference to the world around us."
What Does This Mean for Fierce Beer Drinkers?
If you buy a Fierce For Good beer, a portion of what you spend goes directly to Rewilding Britain. That is it. No complicated opt-ins, no percentage of profits buried in the small print. The Foundation publishes its numbers, so you can see exactly where the money went.
As the volunteering programme takes shape and the funding adds up, there will be more to report. Follow along at fiercebeer.com/blogs/fierce-blog.
