We received a lovely letter from Aberdeen City Council with the title “With Heartfelt Thanks — Tall Ships Races Aberdeen 2025”. It wasn't only for us of course. The letter from the Chief Executive was to thank all the people, partners and businesses involved with making the event the success it was. And we thought we’d pay that forward to everyone we met and who enjoyed our event beer with us.  I'm sure everyone involved in running the event, and those who visited from all over the world, will agree that the vibe throughout the city was fantastic.

As the letter states: "it [the event] was a celebration of who we are and what we can do when we work together."

We were delighted to see our bar full and to introduce an international audience to our beers. In particular, the response to our two limited-edition commemorative beers brewed for this event was fantastic. Both “Anchors Aweigh”, our 4.2% lager and “Calm Seas”, our 0.5% lager were the official beers of the Tall Ships 2025. It was great to see so many people enjoying these while taking in the tall ships at Aberdeen harbour. Both sold out over the course of the event.

Fierce Beer where the people are

We loved working with local bars in the area to make sure the beers were available in as many places as possible. These partnerships ensured the beers were made available to many more locals and visitors to the city.

The buzz was infectious. The event really captured what Aberdeen is all about, and it reminds us why we're proud to call it home. Without doubt, being part of the Tall Ships Races has strengthened our connection to the city where Fierce Beer started and where we continue to operate.
