Fierce Beer is the first brewery in the UK to brew with Strata® Cryo Hops®, the brand‑new Cryo pellet expression of one of the world’s most sought‑after modern hops.

Developed by Yakima Chief Hops in partnership with Indie Hops, Strata® has already become a brewer favourite for its multilayered profile: explosive passion fruit, grapefruit, strawberry, backed by that trademark dankness. The Cryo® format turns that expression up even further, concentrating oils and aromatics for maximum impact.

What makes Cryo® different? The hop cone is separated at ultra-low temperatures in a nitrogen-rich environment, concentrating the oils and aromatics that carry all the flavour and aroma. No astringency, no vegetative material. Just the pure, intense expression of the hop. In Strata's case, that means more passion fruit, more grapefruit, more of everything that makes this variety special.

Our first beer with this hop is Memory Foam, a New England IPA designed by our brewer Ghyll McCallum to highlight the amplified fruit character and saturated aroma that Strata® Cryo® hops can deliver.
