The annual celebration of our signature beer is almost here! 

On 7th November (International Stout Day) we're releasing three new editions of arguably our best and most beloved beer. 

Back in 2017, Very Big Moose was first brewed with the bar team at BD Aberdeen as part of Collabfest. The beer won the public vote, and has been a regular yearly fixture in our brewing schedule ever since.

All Very Big Moose starts life as an imperial strength stout. Taking inspiration from the huge, complex dark beers made by West Coast US breweries in the late 2010s, we load VBM up with cacao and vanilla, adding layers of flavour. Once we hit the maturation stage, we can either pack it as VBM Original, or rack it into barrels. Each year we try to release a mix of editions that have been well-received in the past, along with new and exciting concepts. This year is no exception:

• Maple & Hazelnut Edition
• 24 Month Bourbon Edition
• Rye Old Fashioned Edition

VBM Day 2024 will see these editions launching in bars up and down the UK - be sure to keep an eye on our socials to see where it's pouring on draft near you! For those who aren't able to try VBM on draft, cans will be available on our online shop, and for the first time ever we're making some stock available as a set of three editions for pre-order.
