Northern Lights Beer Festival 2027: Year 3 will be the biggest yet

People having a good time at Northern Lights Beer Festival

Two sellout events over two years. One festival that keeps raising the bar.

The Northern Lights Beer Festival returns to Aberdeen Music Hall in 2027. If you enjoy independently brewed craft beer, you already know this is the one to plan around. Each of the two sessions each year have sold out ahead of the day. If anything, the appetite for our beer festival in Aberdeen keeps growing. If we pull off what we’re working toward, that will continue at pace for 2027 and beyond.

The format stays the same. Afternoon and evening sessions, both set inside one of Scotland's most iconic venues. A curated lineup of independent breweries. The best independent craft brewing we can bring under one roof for you.

What changes for 2027 is ambition. We've spent two years building something that the wider craft beer world is paying attention to, and now we're ready to push it further once again. You can still expect the best craft breweries from the UK, we can promise you that. Breweries of the standard that made 2025 and 2026 what they were. But we're also casting the net wider this time. If a craft brewery is doing something genuinely exciting, regardless of geographic location, we're getting in touch with them.

The Northern Lights Beer Festival is becoming an established date in the calendar for craft beer breweries and enthusiasts across the UK. We think it can be something more than that.

Aberdeen has earned it. The city has a thriving beer culture, a supportive venue in the Music Hall, and people who genuinely appreciate quality independent beer. That combination doesn't exist everywhere. We've felt it every year, and so has every brewery that's made the trip.

Brewery announcements will roll out across our social channels in the months ahead. For two years now you’ve experienced the calibre of breweries that Northern Lights attracts. You know you’re going to meet special brewers and special beers.

Tickets are on sale now. Both sessions will sell out. They always do.
