Fierce Beer has two new specials landing in its alcohol-free lineup: Mango & Lime and Pineapple & Habanero. Both are 0.5% lagers, both are live on fiercebeer.com right now.
What Does Mango & Lime Taste Like?
Mango & Lime opens with ripe mango and lime peel on the nose, then settles into tropical fruit and a light biscuit malt character underneath. The base is Extra Pale, Cara, Wheat and Oats malt with Saaz hops and a clean yeast strain. The finish stays dry, light and crisp throughout.
Poured cold into a glass, most people won't clock it's alcohol-free until they check the label. It's gluten-free too, and like every other Fierce beer, vegan friendly.
What Does Pineapple & Habanero Taste Like?
Pineapple & Habanero leads with fresh pineapple on the nose, then delivers juicy fruit up front before real habanero heat kicks in on the finish. It shares the same malt bill, hops and yeast as Mango & Lime, so the two beers come from one base recipe and go in completely different directions from there.
The heat is real. It builds after the fruit, so the first sip is pineapple and the habanero only shows up on the finish.
Both cans carry the same line under the label:
"At Fierce, we believe that it's not about how strong you brew the beer, it's about how memorable you make it."
Both beers back that up. There's nothing muted about either flavour.
Why Is Alcohol-Free Beer Booming in the UK Right Now?
UK no-alcohol beer volume grew 20% in 2024 compared with 2023, and the wider no-alcohol drinks market is forecast to grow at around 7% a year through to 2028. No-alcohol beer now accounts for more than 2% of the UK's total beverage alcohol market sales, and that share keeps climbing.
Growth is concentrated at the quality end. Premium-and-above brands now account for two-thirds of all no-alcohol beer volume in the UK, and 60% of UK consumers say alcohol-free beer is now just as premium as a full-strength pint, with 56% saying the category has properly gone mainstream. Beer drinkers are choosing it on taste, not settling for it as a compromise.
The Office for National Statistics added alcohol-free beer to its official inflation basket for the first time in 2026, the clearest sign yet that it's now an everyday household purchase rather than a niche one.
Mango & Lime and Pineapple & Habanero are launching into a market where flavour and quality now decide what people buy.
What Makes Fierce's Alcohol-Free Lagers Different?
Fierce has been brewing alcohol-free beer since the middle of 2022, starting with Cerveza 0.5. Hometown 0.5, Fancy Juice 0.5, Noir 0.5, Peach Fuzz 0.5 and the Aberdeen FC collaboration 1983 0.5 followed over the next four years.
Every beer in that history, including Mango & Lime and Pineapple & Habanero, is brewed to 0.5% from the mash in, not brewed full strength and then stripped back afterwards. It takes longer, but we do things this way because the end product tastes better.
That commitment doesn't drop off for a one-off special either. Building Mango & Lime and Pineapple & Habanero alcohol-free from the start shows flavour and experience matter more here than the number on the can, whether a beer is around for years or here for a single run.
Are Mango & Lime and Pineapple & Habanero Replacing Fierce's Other Alcohol-Free Beers?
No. Cerveza 0.5 and Fancy Juice 0.5 remain the bestsellers in Fierce's year-round alcohol-free range, and neither is going anywhere. Mango & Lime and Pineapple & Habanero sit alongside them as limited specials, the same treatment Fierce gives its collaborations and one-off releases across the wider beer range.
Alcohol-free gets exactly the same appetite for new ideas as everything else Fierce brews. Check the Limited Edition collection for what else falls into that category alongside these two.
